Team U-Haul Volunteer with Andre House of Arizona

On Feb. 21st, U-Haul Team Members volunteer their time to serve needy people in the Phoenix area with Andre House of Arizona.

Andre House is a nonprofit organization that serves the homeless and poor populations of greater Phoenix. Located in the heart of the Capital Mall District, Andre House makes its services available to hundreds of people every day.

Andre House received a generous supply of donations this holiday season in the form of clothing, blankets, toiletries and food. Team U-Haul volunteers were put to work to sort through these bulk donations. Dozens of bags filled with clothes were sorted and hung according to style, size and gender.

Team Members also assisted by sorting blankets and other donations while a few others helped upstairs in the donation store.

This was a great experience for all Team Members who participated, and a wonderful way to provide tangible help to a nonprofit organization making a big difference in the community.

Thank you to all who participated and sacrificed a few hours of their Saturday to make our community a better place!
