30 Days Free Self-Storage, U-Box for Mississippi Flood Victims

JACKSON, Miss. — U-Haul Company of Mississippi announced on Sept. 28 that it would offer 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents affected by the severe storms and flooding to hit Jackson County, Harrison County and surrounding Gulf Coast communities over the weekend.

“We had seven inches of rain on the coast this weekend,” said Dick Porter, marketing company president for U-Haul Company of Mississippi.

“This is a tough time for many Mississippians, and we want to assist in any way possible. We hope that dry, safe and secure storage at no cost to the customer will help those who need support in Jackson and Harrison County.”
