Mar 28, 2017

SAN ANTONIO – The eighties were a period of time filled with funky clothes, and even funkier music. Aside from the obsession with workout clothes and teased hair, the eighties mark the period of time in which Sam Molina began his journey as a team member at U-Haul.

When Sam Molina started his journey with U-Haul back in 1981 as a pack and load crew chief. He never expected to be where he is today. Now, 35 years since his start with the Company, Molina is the marketing company president of UHC of San Antonio East.

“When I first started working for U-Haul, I never imagined that I would be at the point I am today,” Molina noted. “All of the team members I’ve had here at U-Haul have been like a family to me. I’ve met so many amazing people and made friendships that I will most definitely cherish.”

A Jack of All Trades

In the years that Molina has spent growing with U-Haul he has worn many different hats. Along his journey, he served as a customer service representative, general manager, packing and loading manager, area field manager and account executive.

Without a doubt, it is safe to say that Molina has put in countless hours of hard work, making sure we are delivering our promise of providing a better and better product and service to more and more people at a lower and lower cost. His fellow team members describe him as “a dedicated team member and a great leader.”

Wearing many hats, has contributed to Molina’s understanding of how U-Haul runs and operates. It has given him many advantages especially as it relates to managing others.

As Molina celebrates 35 years with U-Haul, he recognizes that, he could not have achieved this wonderful milestone on his own.

“I have been extremely privileged to have worked with some of U-Haul Company’s finest, which include Logan Frank, Gary Bouillion and Dean Ross,” Molina emphasized. “I would not be where I am today without my fellow team members.”

It’s dedicated team members like Sam that help contribute to the greatness of Team U-Haul. Team members who are passionate about what they do and make an impact on those around them.

Sam, congratulations on reaching this important, highly respected milestone with U-Haul Company. We value the contributions you make to our team and most of all to our customers. We’re grateful for all you’ve done over the years. Happy 35th
