U-Haul dealers have been making moving more convenient and less stressful for the last 72 years. These dealers built partnerships with U-Haul to offer better products and services to do-it-yourself customers in their communities.
While many of these partnerships are fits for clear synergetic reasons, there are more than a few truly unique businesses that continue to carve out a niche in the network, helping the number of U-Haul locations surge well beyond 21,000 across the U.S. and Canada.

We B Video in Oakridge, Ore.
In addition to its U-Haul affiliation, We B Video offers a variety of services. It provides customers with movie rentals as well as access to a mini-mart and liquor store.
“In our store, it’s all about the customer,” owner Robin Keever said. “U-Haul has given us the ability to welcome new people to the area as well as be the ones to say goodbye through their moving process. Our customers always feel like old friends rather than strangers when they come into the store.”
We B Video began offering U-Haul services when Keever realized that there were no dealers in the area. Locals were driving 35 miles to address their moving needs. Now, the community can access everything it needs at We B Video.

Knickerbockers Mall in Cowan, Tenn.
Knickerbockers Mall is an antique, crafts and gift mall. “We decided to become a U-Haul dealer to not only offer an extra service to our customers, but also to serve as a welcome center for new residents in our small community,” Sells said.
Owners Russell and Sherri Sells love being the first to meet new residents in the area. Not only has the partnership increased walk-in traffic for the store, but its customer base has also grown through U-Haul internet exposure.

Psychic Center in Sacramento, Calif.
Aside from offering U-Haul services, residents in Sacramento can visit the Psychic Center for “palm readings, taro card readings and overall spiritual guidance.” This center is unique because there are not many psychic centers in the area, and certainly not many that can assist with your moving needs as well.
“I initially decided to partner with U-Haul because I was looking for more to do at the shop,” owner Christina Stevens explained. “Since then I have noticed an increase in friendly customers saying they’ve never seen a business quite like ours.”

Toni’s Canine Castle in Florence, Ore.
Toni’s Canine Castle makes all dogs and dog lovers feel like royalty in Florence. This U-Haul neighborhood dealer offers boarding services, doggie day care and play time to dogs of all sizes.
After working for U-Haul in 1989, owner Toni Evans decided she wanted to revisit that affiliation. “Our services are needed in this area,” Evans said. “U-Haul gave us the ability to serve the public and reach more customers. We’ve helped many clients with their move, including watching their dogs while they packed for their transition.”

From offering soil and nutrients to providing information on growing and planting, Indoor Gardening assists customers with all of their gardening needs. Now it can assist with transportation of those gardening supplies by way of a U-Haul truck.
“Since Indoor Gardening became a U-Haul dealer, we’ve seen a rise in consumers and revenue,” owner John Paul Stoeher said. “This has really boosted our business.”

This business is a one-stop shop for all your party planning needs. With a variety of party planning decor, this store helps corporate planners make events more memorable.
“I’ve used U-Haul a number of times in the past and have always had great experiences,” owner Shawnee Williams said. “Not only has this partnership brought new clients, but it’s a great feeling knowing this is the first stop made in the area for some people.”

Grandpa’s Feed and Pet Supply in Waldport, Ore.
Grandpa’s Feed and Pet Supply has every supply imaginable for dogs, cats, caged animals, wild birds, deer, horses and livestock. You can find anything from toys and wound care to straw and hay.
Before this U-Haul partnership, locals would have to drive 18 miles north to Newport or 45 miles south to Florence to have their moving needs met. Owners Adam and Tamara Bailey decided that becoming a U-Haul dealer would be beneficial to their business and their community.
“Our very first customer was a couple from Texas,” Adam said. “While I was helping the man check the trailer in, his wife came in the store and bought over $200 in stuff for their dog – no joking. That is when we knew we were on to something.”

This local family-owned business not only specializes in Shaved Ice Beverages, but also serves a variety of favorite foods. “At Unique Wonders, we offer more than 60 delicious flavors which helps us make your Shaved Ice beverages one of a kind,” owner Rochelle Jonson explained.
Unique Wonders operates just a few blocks south of Florida State University, meaning there are times when her primary business is busy (during the school year) and other times when business tapers (when classes are out). By partnering with U-Haul, the business is able to keep a steady revenue and continuously attract new customers.

Diamond R Fastrack & Go Karts is an outdoor go-kart track, a fun facility for families. “We are the only track in all of Clark County,” owner Chris Ray said. “There’s really nothing like it within 100 miles of us.”
Ray and his partners, Cody Ray and Crystal Kunkle, decided to partner with U-Haul to make moving more convenient for their customers. They keep so busy with the track when it comes to families and foster children, that the owners wanted to meet more needs of their community. Not only has U-Haul broadened their customer base, but it has also given them the chance to create more relationships.
