U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Self-Storage to Southern Mississippi Flood Victims

Jun 23, 2017

U-Haul Company of Mississippi is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to southern Mississippi residents who have been or will be impacted by flood conditions in the region.

Tropical Depression Cindy has been releasing heavy rains throughout the week in the southern portion of the state. Dangerous flood conditions remain a concern through the weekend.

“The rain along the Gulf Coast is worse, but there are several flooded areas across southern Mississippi,” said Dick Porter, U-Haul Company of Mississippi president. “U-Haul is a caring community member and we want to be able to help our neighbors in times of need, including the storing of their belongings in a safe and dry space.”
