Six U-Haul Companies across the Northeast region are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who have been or will be impacted by the nor’easter over the last few days.
The storm has pummeled the Northeast Coast, leaving thousands of residents without power and causing flooding and wind damage to coastal communities.
“The storm has mostly moved out to sea, but the devastation remains,” said Brian Picanco, U-Haul Company of New Hampshire president. “As a strong member of the communities that we serve, U-Haul is happy to assist our neighbors in times of need by offering a safe, dry and secure place to stow their belongings at no cost for a month.”
U-Haul Companies of Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Southern Massachusetts and Cape Cod have made 18 facilities available to offer the 30 days free disaster relief assistance program.
