U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage at three Arizona facilities to Gila Bend residents impacted by the recent flooding.
A state of emergency was declared after monsoon storms hit Gila Bend last weekend. Two people lost their lives in the floods.
“Gila Bend is a tight-knit community, and everyone knows someone who was affected by the flash flood,” said Carl Cabaniss, U-Haul Company of Western Arizona president. “Neighbors were being rescued off rooftops and many people are looking for a secure place to store their items. We’re here to help during the cleanup process.”
