“Felicia knows 949 Team Members and U-Haul dealers like the back of her hand,” District 11 Area District Vice President (ADVP) Nick Marra stated. “Even more importantly, they feel appreciated and valued by her. Over her more than three decades of U-Haul service, she has built strong relationships with countless members of the community. By doing so, she has played an important role in the Company’s regional success.”

Robert’s impact on the U-Haul community in New Jersey did not happen overnight. In 1989, she joined U-Haul as a reservation manager with UHC of Northern New Jersey (Co. 814) and went on to serve as general manager of U-Haul Moving and Storage of Saddlebrook (N.J.), area field manager and 814 traffic control manager, among other roles.

Now, as marketing company president of 949, she looks forward to developing and promoting a culture of success where Team Members and dealers are empowered to thrive.

“When I originally joined U-Haul, I was a young mom who just needed flexible work,” Roberts said. “But as I progressed within the Company, I recognized that if I worked hard and did my absolute best, there was no limit as to what I could accomplish. Now as 949 MCP, I want to provide everyone in this marketing company with the necessary tools to not only do well in their current roles, but to become full-fledged innovators and leaders upon which U-Haul Company can rely.”

“Let’s get it done!”

Roberts thanked Marra for providing her with consistent guidance and encouragement.

“In all honesty, there have been a few moments in my U-Haul career where I’ve struggled with self-doubt and low self-esteem,” Roberts noted. “Whenever this happens, Nick has always been by my side, telling me to ‘just keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll all work out.’ He demonstrates true leadership. As I’ve consistently strived to follow his example, I’ve achieved real lasting success. I’m excited to put all the lessons I’ve learned from him into practice in my new role as MCP.”

Added Marra: “If I had to highlight just one of Felicia’s many standout qualities, it would be her no-nonsense ‘let’s get it done’ attitude. Her No. 1 goal is to see her team succeed in everything they do. She never settles for mediocrity. At the same time, she’s always down in the trenches with her Team Members, working and listening to them, and doing everything she can to help them serve U-Haul customers. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that she and her team will provide people throughout the North Central New Jersey community with an unmatched level of service and care.”
