Final Week to Donate to Operation Santa Claus at U-Haul Stores

Dec 12, 2022

There is one week remaining to donate to Operation Santa Claus and make the Christmas season a little brighter for Arizona children in need.

U-Haul has upped its stake in Sanderson Ford’s annual charity event in 2022, serving as title sponsor of Operation Santa Claus while making 13 Company locations around the Valley available to accept gifted items.

These drop-off locations include 12 U-Haul stores and the Shoen Family Conference & Fitness Center at U-Haul International headquarters in Midtown Phoenix. (Locations listed below.)

During store hours through Dec. 19, you can give a new unwrapped toy; new children’s clothing item; packaged food item; or a monetary donation at any of these U-Haul sites, ABC15, Sanderson Ford or Sanderson Lincoln.

Give and Win a Truck

You can also visit givetotheclaus.com and make a minimum $5 donation through Paypal. For every $5 donated, you have the chance to win a new F-150 Super Crew truck or Lincoln Corsair. Fifteen finalists will win a $100 Visa gift card and a key. The finalist with the key that starts the truck will win the grand prize. Three finalists are drawn weekly on ABC15.

U-Haul, headquartered in Phoenix since 1967, has been a longtime business partner and close friend of Sanderson Ford for decades. As the industry leader in DIY moving and self-storage, U-Haul is pleased to once again accept a major role in helping this cause benefiting local families become a holiday success.

“Operation Santa Claus has grown into a huge success over the past 22 years, but we haven’t done it on our own,” said David Kimmerle, President of Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln. “It takes the whole community and strong partners like U-Haul to make it happen. We are proud to have them as the title sponsor of Operation Santa Claus and as the official drop-off location.

“U-Haul is also essential in providing the trucks for transporting the thousands upon thousands of donations to our charities. We could not get the donations to the families in need without their help!”
