A group of Team Members from U-Haul Company of East Bay spent the Fourth of July celebrating with the community of Concord.
Every year, Todos Santos Business Association puts on an Independence Day parade featuring classic cars, dance troops, local businesses and a marching band.
This year U-Haul of Concord joined the tradition. The team drove U-Haul trucks and U-Box trailers in the parade, and handed out branded lanyards, drawstring backpacks and pamphlets.
“It was a fantastic Fourth of July parade and carnival,” stated Errin Townsley, U-Haul Company of East Bay executive assistant. “The community was thrilled to be able to explore the U-Box trailer. We even gave some (rental) quotes and booked a few reservations on the spot.”
Portable Popularity: U-Box Containers a Hit
U-Haul also had a booth at the carnival featuring U-Box containers, giving festival attendees the chance to see inside and learn about the industry’s best moving and storage container. Community members also got to sit inside the trucks and on the forklift to get an understanding of how U-Haul operates do-it-yourself moving equipment in Concord.
“It was the perfect way to get involved with the community and get the word out about all of our products and services,” said Brodee Loggins, U-Haul of Concord general manager. “We were asked a lot of questions about U-Box containers and people loved that we build them here in Oakland, California.”
The night ended on a high note, with fireworks at the park. U-Haul would like to thank the attendees and all those who celebrated our nation’s birthday.
Founded in 1945 by a WWII Navy veteran and his wife, U-Haul operates in all 50 states and 10 Canadian provinces with more than 23,000 rental locations.
