U-Haul Company of Missouri is offering 30 days of free self-storage to residents of Southern Missouri who have been or will be impacted by flood conditions in the region.
Widespread flooding has led to the closing of numerous roads and caused water damage in some areas. Governor Eric Greitens has issued a state of emergency.
“These relentless rainstorms have been hitting hard, and heavy rainfall is expected through today,” U-Haul Company of Missouri president Bryan Dean said on Sunday. “Many residents have been forced from their homes. As a strong member of these communities, U-Haul is willing to help in whatever capacity we can.”
