U-Haul Extends 30 Days Free Self-Storage to West Virginia Flood Victims

U-Haul Company of West Virginia is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents of Hundred and surrounding towns who have been affected by flooding.

North Central West Virginia was hit by heavy rains last weekend, causing flooding and power outages. Many residents in Hundred and neighboring communities are still assessing damages.

“As a caring neighbor, U-Haul is happy to help communities when natural disasters strike,” U-Haul Company of West Virginia president Jeff Bowles said. “People need a safe place to store their belongings while we all work together to clean up and rebuild this community.”

U-Haul stores offer needed supplies to help with recovery like boxes, tarps, propane and propane tanks. Customers are urged to ensure their tanks are topped off since propane is good to have in the event of long-term power outages.
