Oct 3, 2018

Humble Design Fueled by U-Haul is bringing its proven track record in the fight against homelessness to your TV screen. “Welcome Home” premieres on Saturday, Oct. 6 on the CW.

“Welcome Home” is hosted by Treger and Rob Strasberg, the co-founders of Humble Design, and will reveal families transitioning out of homelessness and into furnished homes.

“Welcome Home” Format

Every week, the show will feature a different family overcoming personal hardships and moving into a home of its own. With the help of volunteers, including U-Haul Team Members, Humble Design works to make any empty living space a comforting home. All furnishings and services come from the local community, making the event sustainable, heartwarming and uplifting.

“I’m really excited about the season premier and what this is going to mean for Humble Design,” Treger said. “Humble Design started off really little, and now we’re spreading around the country. This show will be a huge platform for us.”

Humble Design has served more than 1,000 families since its benevolent mission began in 2009. With the support of national partner U-Haul, the Detroit-born nonprofit also has expanded to include chapters Chicago, San Diego and Seattle.
