U-Haul Company of South Central Louisiana is offering free self-storage to residents who were impacted by wind damage and severe storms associated with a possible tornado early Thursday morning.
Strong winds toppled trees, downed power lines, damaged homes and littered streets with debris in and around Alexandria.
“Many of our neighbors are now dealing with the damage and devastation,” U-Haul Company of South Central Louisiana president Jerry Bowden said. “As a caring member of these communities, we want to make sure they have a secure place to store their belongings during the recovery process.”
