U-Haul Company of South Carolina is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to people affected by the Allen Benedict Court Apartment gas leak last week.
More than 400 people have been forced to evacuate their homes since the gas leak, which led to two deaths.
“We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families,” said Zakee Roberts, U-Haul Company of South Carolina president. “These residents have now been displaced from their homes. U-Haul is here to support this community in any way possible.”
U-Haul Company of South Carolina has made five facilities available to offer the 30 days free disaster relief assistance program.
