moving to Detroit

There are many reasons to love the city of Detroit, but there is one that is often overlooked: its spirit. The city of Detroit has seen some rough times, yet every time it comes out beautiful. It is a city where hope is alive, dreams are big and aspirations soar. One thing we know for sure is that the people are proud. There is no doubt that the city as a whole is always striving for the better and it’s the efforts of the proud people that make this possible.

We met up with the Director of Greening Detroit, Trish Hubbell, to hear her viewpoint on the city. As a lifelong Detroiter, Hubbell has seen the ups and downs of the city. In her efforts to keep it a beautiful place, she is in charge of many green projects in and around the city. As if we don’t already have a big enough reason to move to Detroit, Hubbell tells us now is a more exciting time than ever before for the city. Find out why in the video below!
