This year’s Migration Trends Report is out and at No. 6, we have Brooklyn. The effects of gentrification on the city can now be seen at every corner. New cafes, restaurants and boutiques line the streets of Brooklyn. You can find art galleries and all the creative types have made Brooklyn their home. It’s also home to one of the most hipster areas in the country! Williamsburg is easily one of the most popular and exciting neighborhoods in the city. While the cost of living in Brooklyn is higher than the country average, it’s a price many are willing to pay in order to live in the beautiful city of Brooklyn. We asked some of our Brooklyn movers to share with us their moving experience. Check out their moving stories through #UhaulFamous photos below:
“I moved from Washington, DC to Brooklyn, NY and drove the U-Haul all by myself!” This DIY mover doesn’t need any help when moving!
“Express my gratitude to y’all. Your support truly keeps my gears grinding and my mind moving. With that, here’s a picture of Bushwick at golden hour. #thankyou #bushwick #brooklyn #newyork #magichour #explore #wander #travel #vscocam #sunshine #snowfall #winter #wonderland #uhaul #uhaulfamous #wherethesidewalkends #shadows #bicycle” This mover submitted this artsy photo on his move and expressed gratitude to those who helped him on his journey!
“Make me #uhaulfamous!” That’s what this mover said after submitting their photo. Ask and you shall receive! They are all smiles on their Brooklyn move.
