U-Haul Recognized by Pat Tillman Foundation

You Ran With It… Now Never Stop.

Pat's Run

These are the words that stretch across a plaque recently given to U-Haul International in recognition of sponsorship with the Pat Tillman Foundation and the 2015 Pat’s Run.

U-Haul has been partnering with the Pat Tillman Foundation since 2010 as a sponsor of Pat’s Run. Pat’s Run is a 4.2 mile Run/Walk that winds through the streets of Tempe, Arizona to the Arizona State University Sun Devil Stadium. The run ends at the 42-yard line of Frank Kush field, symbolic of the #42 jersey Pat wore as an ASU Sun Devil. From the first event held in 2005 with 5,000 participants, Pat’s Run has grown into the largest run in the nation to honor a fallen soldier and support our nation’s veterans and military spouses through the Pat Tillman Foundation’s Tillman Scholar Program.

This is another program U-Haul has had the honor of supporting since 2013. Tillman Scholars have answered the call to serve much like Pat did. Pat never stopped listening to that inner voice that pushed him forward to serve his country. U-Haul shares in this passion for service and supporting our past, present and future service members like Pat and are grateful for the opportunity to support this program to carry forward his legacy.Tillman Scholars

“As a foundation, we’re incredibly grateful for U-Haul’s dedication to ease the scholars’ military transition and to help them on the path to earn degrees in medicine, business, law, policy, science, education and the arts”. – Pat Tillman Foundation

You can follow the scholars’ back-to-school adventures courtesy of U-Haul via @PatTillmanFnd and #UHaulFamous, or learn more at Uhaul.com.
