U-Haul Company of Southern Louisiana is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents of Jefferson Parish, St. Charles Parish and St. John the Baptist Parish who were affected by the multiple tornadoes that touched down earlier this week.

Twisters ripped through a number of homes and caused significant damage across a widespread area on Tuesday.
“The storms were devastating to this area, and we want to assist our neighbors,” said Patrick Allen, U-Haul Company of Southern Louisiana president. “Many homes were damaged. Mobile homes were destroyed. Families that suffered losses may need a secure place to store their things until they can get back on their feet. We want to help in any way we can.”
