Maggie's Place Miracle of Motherhood E

On a cool evening in March, Maggie’s Place celebrated their 15th Annual Miracle of Motherhood event in Scottsdale Arizona. Hundreds of guests gathered for the signature event, this year themed Corks & Forks. Guests had the opportunity to taste various wines, bid on auction items, and learn more about Maggie’s Place all while raising funds to benefit the charity.

Maggie’s Place is a charity that provides housing and ongoing support to help pregnant and parenting women in need reach their goals, and welcomes them into a community filled with love and dignity. They support the most vulnerable population in the community.

U-Haul has been a proud supporter since 2005 and sponsor of the Miracle of Motherhood event for a number of years, including Fiesta Para Las Mamas in 2015. This year’s Corks & Forks event paired great food and wine with those eager to raise funds to help these mothers in need.

Team U-Haul also supports Maggie’s Place by volunteering twice a year during Serve Saturdays as well as volunteering at the annual Race for Maggie’s Place held in October, or otherwise known as the MP9k.

At the end of the evening auction items were announced and two very excited U-Haul Team members who generously donated funds were chosen for various prizes. It was a wonderful evening shared with Maggie’s Place staff,  sponsors and supporters with money raised to go towards this deserving mothers.

U-Haul is proud to be a supporter of Maggie’s Place.
