Flood Relief: U-Haul Extends 30 Days of Free Self-Storage to Ottawa Victims

U-Haul Company of Western Quebec is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents in and around Ottawa who have been or will be impacted by flooding.

The Ottawa-Gatineau region has taken on extensive water due to heavy rains. Flooded streets and homes have created the need for secure and dry self-storage options where people can keep their possessions.

“The weather is starting to turn around, but the levels of the Ottawa River have reached a historic high, so low-lying areas are still facing troubles,” said Claude Boucher, U-Haul Company of Western Quebec president. “As a strong supporter of the communities to which we belong, U-Haul is ready to help by offering families a place to safely store their belongings for 30 days at no cost.”
