U-Haul Companies of San Antonio East and San Antonio West are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who have been or will be impacted by the San Antonio flooding.
Slow-moving thunderstorms have unleashed extensive rainfall over southern Texas. Residents in low-lying areas are being evacuated and flood waters have closed several roads.
“We have had a lot of rainfall in a short amount of time,” said Sam Molina, U-Haul Company of San Antonio East president. “Thousands of people are without power and others are being asked to evacuate. As a longstanding and caring member of these communities, U-Haul is ready to help by offering families a secure place to store their belongings for 30 days at no cost.”
People seeking additional information about the 30 days free assistance or needing to make self-storage or U-Box arrangements should contact the nearest participating location.
