Flood Relief: 30 Days Free U-Haul Self-Storage in San Antonio

U-Haul Companies of San Antonio East and San Antonio West are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to residents who have been or will be impacted by the San Antonio flooding.

Slow-moving thunderstorms have unleashed extensive rainfall over southern Texas. Residents in low-lying areas are being evacuated and flood waters have closed several roads.

“We have had a lot of rainfall in a short amount of time,” said Sam Molina, U-Haul Company of San Antonio East president. “Thousands of people are without power and others are being asked to evacuate. As a longstanding and caring member of these communities, U-Haul is ready to help by offering families a secure place to store their belongings for 30 days at no cost.”

With U-Box containers, you can conveniently pick up our custom-designed trailer and take your U-Box with you. U-Haul also can store your U-Box container in our secure warehouses or pick up and deliver it to a location of your choice. Watch the new U-Box TV commercial here.

U-Haul stores offer needed supplies to help with recovery like boxes, tarps, propane and propane tanks. Customers are urged to ensure their tanks are topped off since propane is good to have in the event of long-term power outages.
