U-Haul Company of Southwestern Wisconsin and Rockford is offering 30 days of free self-storage to residents who have been or will be impacted by flooding in the Madison area.
Steady rains have closed roads, caused many homes to take on water, and displaced a growing number of families.
“Some communities are seeing record rainfall,” said Adam Sonnleitner, U-Haul Company of Southwestern Wisconsin and Rockford president. “Dane County has issued a state of emergency as more rain is expected this weekend. There are hundreds of affected families. We want to offer a helping hand and provide our neighbors with a dry, secure place to store their belongings.”
