How to Work From Home

Curious about what the job duties entail? Requirements for work-from-home positions are as follows:

  • Receive incoming calls from customers who are utilizing the U-Haul toll-free number and specific U-Haul store numbers (when that line is busy) across the U.S. and Canada
  • Answer general product questions as well as rental inquiries for customers
  • Secure and schedule reservations for U-Haul product and services such as: trucks, trailers, hitch installations, self-storage rooms and more

Candidates who are interested in a work-from-home position must meet the preferred requirements as well. These include: basic keyboarding and computer skills; ability to navigate multiple programs at one time; excellent verbal communication and listening skills; clear speaking voice; general knowledge of U.S. and Canadian geography; positive business attitude; and also enjoy working with people.
