Team U-Haul Gifts 773 Thanksgiving Turkeys to Arizona Nonprofits

Nov 26, 2025

U-Haul Team Members across the Valley donated 773 turkeys this Thanksgiving to assist local organizations seeking to help our neighbors in need.

Management continued its generous tradition of gifting every Team Member in the U-Haul network a turkey to be enjoyed with their families for Thanksgiving.

Hundreds of Team Members then paid it forward, regifting their turkey to an Arizona family that needed it more. That kindness from Team U-Haul resulted in:

  • St. Mary’s Food Bank receiving 493 turkeys from the U-Haul Midtown Campus in Phoenix.
  • St. Vincent de Paul receiving 180 turkeys from the U-Haul Midtown Campus and the U-Haul Technical Center in Tempe.
  • U.S.VETS receiving 76 turkeys from the U-Haul Midtown Campus.
  • Glendale Fraternal Order of Police receiving 24 turkeys from Glendale Manufacturing Company.

Thanks to Team Members supporting these nonprofits, U-Haul received live coverage from nearly every Phoenix TV station on Nov. 24 at St. Mary’s or Nov. 25 at SVdP.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
