U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Storage to Flood Victims in Oregon, Southern Washington

U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container use at 37 Company facilities across Oregon and southern Washington to aid residents affected by the flash floods and potential landslides.

Several rivers have flooded from heavy rainfall in the region, creating conditions for residential water damage or evacuations. Public access to dry, secure self-storage units and portable storage containers are vital to communities during times of natural disasters.

On Dec. 10 and 15, U-Haul Companies in Washington made 19 U-Haul self-storage facilities spanning the western part of the state, including many in and around King County, available for flood victims as well. The 30 days free offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals and is based on availability at each participating site. The U-Box portable container offer is for on-site storage at Company facilities; U-Box delivery is available for a modest fee.
