Spokane Fires: U-Haul Offers Disaster Relief to Evacuees and Impacted Residents

U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container use at seven centers for residents displaced or impacted by the Spokane Complex Fire.

The group of three wildfires that have burned more than 7,700 acres and forced roughly 60,000 people to evacuate their homes. The Old Trails, Fairview and Autumn Lane fires ignited over the weekend. More than 600 structures have been destroyed. Officials have called this one of the worst natural disasters the region has faced. 

Access to self-storage units and portable storage containers is essential to communities before, during and after disasters strike. U-Haul is ready to help anyone impacted by the wildfires who needs a secure storage solution at no cost for one month. 

The 30 days free offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals and is based on availability. The U-Box offer is for on-site storage at participating facilities; delivery is available for a modest fee.
