Any business owner with a convenient location, the dedication to help his or her community, the desire to boost income, and the lot space to accommodate U-Haul rental equipment can become a neighborhood dealer.

Welcome to this women’s hair and beauty boutique that sells hair extensions and women’s apparel. Business partners Raymond Vincent and Raney Bibbins said they became a U-Haul neighborhood dealer because they wanted to “take advantage of an opportunity to subsidize their expenses as well as partner with a widely known brand.” Since becoming a neighborhood dealer, Weave Got It has had numerous U-Haul customers ask about hair and beauty products in their store, generating all sorts of new business.

Here is a beloved local bowling center and restaurant. You can find pizza, wings, sandwiches, salads and U-Haul products on their menu. According to Keith Bohman, a McBo’s Lanes employee, they became a U-Haul dealer to supplement their income during the slower time of the year.

Apple Wagon Antique Mall
Want a business that offers a little bit of everything? Owner Holly Wilson explained that they have approximately 56 antique vendors that sell home décor, fiestaware, custom screen printing and embroidery. “The U-Haul products help our customers who want to purchase bigger items and don’t have room in their vehicle,” Wilson noted. They became a U-Haul neighborhood dealer because they wanted to provide their customers with a much needed service.

Here is a New York business that offers swimming pools, spas, billiards, saunas, chemicals, accessories and services to go along with our orange-clad moving trucks. Owners Andrew Aitchison and Michael Decicco saw U-Haul as an opportunity to “connect with the community and meet new people in the area.” Since becoming a U-Haul neighborhood dealer, their business has generated new customers and gained another revenue stream.

Here is a business that offers real estate appraisals, property management, commercial development, leasing and real estate. They became a U-Haul neighborhood dealer because they wanted their customers to have easier access to trucks and trailers in their town. Administrative assistant Jensey Burgess explained that since U-Haul came on board, their business has gotten more foot traffic and there has been an increase in rental customers. “U-Haul fits in with our business very well,” she said. “Let us sell you a new house and then help you move!”

Hair Beast Salon & Boutique
What woman wouldn’t love a hair salon and shoe boutique? The business offers its own hair care products (Exquisite Hair Care) and quality, fashionable heels. Hair Beast became a U-Haul neighborhood dealer because it wished to help other people. Owner Cortez Murry said: “It benefits my business a lot. I’ve gained a lot of clients and customers while being a U-Haul neighborhood dealer.”

This business offers landscaping and major contracts for residential and commercial spaces. They also have a seasonal plant shop and a vegetable stand. Their ideal location made the decision to become a U-Haul dealer very simple. “Our business is right in front a storage facility and there is a new neighborhood behind us,” owner Ellen Satterfield said. “We love the personal interaction we get with our customers, and U-Haul has helped us bring in even more customers. Being a neighborhood dealer is going to benefit us long-term.”

Brandi Miller, one of the store’s partners, said that by offering U-Haul equipment they are able to “provide a service so that the community doesn’t have to drive 35 to 45 minutes to receive moving help.”

Oregon Snyder’s Pharmacy and Ace Hardware
Get your prescription filled, a new garden hose and a top-of-the-line moving truck in one stop. This is a full-service Ace Hardware®, a liquor store and a pharmacy. According to manager Scott Fauster, Oregon Snyder’s became a U-Haul neighborhood dealer “to give the community another reason to shop with us.” Their intention is to keep business local. Fauster said by being a one-stop shop, his customer don’t leave empty-handed.
