Three U-Haul Companies in Massachusetts and New Hampshire are offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to victims and families affected by the Merrimack Valley gas explosions on Thursday night.
A series of gas explosions killed a teenager and injured at least 10 other people. Multiple communities north of Boston were forced to evacuate.
“We want to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families,” said Scott Chase, U-Haul Company of Eastern Massachusetts president. “This region suffered a gas line failure resulting in over 40 home explosions and fires. U-Haul is here to support this community in any way possible.”
