Hurricane Lee: U-Haul Offers 30 Days Free Storage in Atlantic Canada as Storm Approaches

U-Haul® is preemptively offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container usage across Atlantic Canada where residents are projected to need disaster relief assistance after Hurricane Lee.

Heavy rains and high winds are forecast for the region with the storm expected to reach the Maritimes on Saturday night and impact Canadian residents throughout Sunday.

There are 13 stores across four provinces participating in the offer. Access to dry and secure self-storage is always beneficial to communities when natural disasters strike.

The U-Haul disaster relief program applies to new self-storage unit and U-Box container rentals and is based on availability. People seeking more information or needing to arrange 30 days of free storage should contact their nearest participating location:
