U-Haul Stores in Greater Montreal Offer Help after City’s Water Main Break

U-Haul® Canada announced the Company’s disaster relief program is now available at six stores in the Montreal area.

Due to a major water main break that flooded parts of south-center Montreal on Friday, U-Haul is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container usage to people affected by the break. About 50 residences and 20 businesses were flooded.

Access to dry and secure storage lockers and portable storage containers is helpful for communities during the disaster recovery process.

The 30-day free offer applies to new locker and U-Box rentals and is based on availability. People seeking more details about the disaster relief program or needing to arrange free storage services should contact the participating store nearest them:
