U-Haul® is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container use at three Company facilities in Tulsa for residents displaced by a major apartment fire that tore through the Sheridan Pond Apartments complex on Thursday morning.
The Tulsa Fire Department was dispatched to the apartment complex near East 81st Street and South Sheridan Road shortly after 8 a.m. The fire was brought under control around 9:45 a.m. with no injuries reported and many pets rescued, but the building sustained extensive damage.
Access to self-storage units and portable storage containers is vital to the clean-up and recovery process of displaced residents after fires and other disasters. U-Haul is ready to help anyone affected by the fire who needs a storage solution at no cost for one month.
