ST. LOUIS–After riding bikes all over the world, professional triathlete and U.S. Olympian Sarah Haskins now has a new bike to ride.
Haskins is the daughter of Brian and Becky Haskins, who own Antire 44 Haskins Storage and U-Haul Dealership in St. Louis.
Her father won a U-Haul bike during the Missouri Self Storage Association silent auction, which benefited Shriners Hospitals for Children. When he brought the bike home he thought it would be perfect for his triathlete daughter to take out for a ride.
Haskins has been a professional triathlete since 2004 and competed with Team USA at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, where she placed 11th in the triathlon event.
Since the 2008 Games, Haskins won the gold medal in the triathlon at the 2011 Pan American Games in Mexico and had a baby girl with her husband Nate.
